| Hi, my name is Samantha Glakeler. I graduated high school at Chatfield Senior High in Littleton, Colorado. I am now attending Westwood College of Technology and will be graduating in early March. I am majoring in Graphic Design and would love to use my education towards designing logos, c.d. covers, posters, etc. for all kinds of businesses. One of my influences for the type of artwork I do would be Salvador Dali. I love looking at a world that you can only see in your head and expressing it onto canvas. I am really into surrealism. Almost all of my art comes from my imagination. I have done a lot of still lifes and drawn real people before and have found it to bring a different kind of excitment out of me when I am finished. I really would love to be able to use my creativity throughout my carreer, whatever it is.I am a real huge music lover and have played the guitar for a few years. At some point in my life I would most throughly enjoy working with bands helping them create video and artwork for album covers. My favorite types of music that inspire and intrigue me are heavy metal, some hip hop, industrial, jungle(drum and bass) and a little classical. I love grabbing people's attention with my designs and artwork and I want to help people achieve that as well with my services as a graphic designer.
While attending Westwood, I have learned how to use programs such as Illustrator, Adobe Photohop CS, Final Cut Pro HD, Quark, 3D Max and Go Live. I really enjoyed learning about editing video and would love to indulge in the field of making and editing video and even incorporating art into it. I believe I have a lot of ideas and creativity to offer throughout my carreer. |
